Masters of Education is a postgraduate academic degree in education which includes specializations like curriculum and instruction, counseling, school psychology.

Some of the key topics covered in the programme include - Foundations of education, advances in education, methodology of educational research and educational statistics, comparative education, teacher education, value education and human rights, curriculum development, educational measurement and evaluation etc.

M.Ed. qualified candidates can easily find jobs in schools and colleges specially in those institutions where B.Ed./M.Ed. programmes are being offered. They can also be employed in research and development in the field of education.
