Ph.D in Agriculture

The Ph.D. in Agriculture, in line with the general philosophy of Doctoral Degrees, provides the student with, the most advanced knowledge of Agriculture and Horticulture etc. Will help shape the future use of plants for the benefit of humans by improving the plants, designing sustainable systems for production and managing the effects on nature, bio- diversity and the environment. In Private Sector, graduates may be employed as Managers at Plantations, as officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc.

Duration : 3 Years (Full-Time) or 4 Years (Part-Time)
Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
