Note: - The maximum marks for each course will be 100. The student will have to obtain 36% marks in each Course. 
Five courses (DCA-101 to DCA-105) will have theory examinations, while DCA-106 will be practical. The self learning material (SLM) will be provided for every theory course whereas practical paper will be conducted from the SLM provided for the theory courses. Students have to attend 10 days practical camp followed by the practical examination. At least 75% attendance is compulsory in the practical camp failing which practical examination will not be permitted.

Introduction to Computer Science

Operating System

  • Cover resource allocation, memory management, file systems, and user interfaces.

  • Familiarize students with database concepts and principles.
  • Cover database design, implementation, querying (SQL), and security.

Web Authoring Tools

Objectives of Courses:
  • Equip students with skills in web content creation.
  • Cover HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially content management systems.

Computer Applications in Corporate World

Objectives of Courses:
  • Illustrate the use of computers in business settings.
  • Teach office productivity software, project management tools, and emphasize IT's role in business operations.
